Why is he telling me to be more feminine?

Here's this guy that i like and i sort of told him that i liked him more than just a friend 1 1/2 weeks ago. well..he didn't really tell me bout his feelings towards me(its coz of his prev encounter in a relationship that really didnt turn well)..so its juz like stuck halfway i guess.We are like just acting normal friends and as thou as i have never confessed my feelings towards him. I notice some changes in him..but the most recent one that he is telling me to b more feminine. i mean..his not my Bf or what so ever..why is he so concern about me being feminine or not? and note that he's a Taurus.
