Is The Huge U.S Wealth Disparity Really A Result Of Capitalism?

Not really. We've had a major disparity of wealth since the founding of this country. The disparity comes from the uber rich using government to enact their will. This can happen under a democracy, theocracy, military dictatorship or socialistic based government. The problem I see with communism is not in the ideals of using government to level the playing field but in the fact that the bigger the government becomes, the more power it exerts and the more likely it will fall to the prey of the powerful within it. Just look at democracy in action in the United States. Both Republican and Democratic Presidents bailed out big banks & corporations, instead of the people indebted.
