Pet help please ?

I have just bought a new guinea pig and am not sure wether she is drinking from her water bottle. Do you know how to show the pig how to drink or to entice it to drink? Also any other info on how to welcome a new piggie to the family. Shes about 6 weeks old abbysinian cross. Thanx, cant wait to give out 10 points
